11+ English skills pupils need
11+ English can include reading comprehension, inference, vocabulary in context, spelling, grammar, punctuation and sometimes writing confidence depending on the school route.
Pupils often lose marks because they rush, miss evidence or choose an answer that sounds plausible but is not supported by the text.
